A Building in Western

"Lost Theater of Western College" is a wonderful video by Michael S. Cash about a building in the town of Western that stands on his family's property.  It is said to be a remnant of Western College buildings that once existed in Western, and the family thinks it may have originally been a theater.  Western College was established in 1856 by the United Brethren in Christ and existed there until 1881, when it moved to Toledo, Iowa.

In the video Mike recreates how this building may have looked when it was built.  It is a fascinating video, and we want to thank Michael for permission to share it.  Click the arrow to begin.
