Our move is accomplished

We are happy to report that our move from the second floor to the lower floor of the Ely Community Center has been accomplished .  We have been working on re-shelving our holdings and last week were finally able to hook up the computer, printers and scanners.  We are up and running again!  We still have some putting away to do, but we hope to be done with that soon.

USUAL HOURS are 9:30-11:00 a.m. on Tuesdays. HOWEVER, If you plan to visit to our archives room, ALWAYS CALL AHEAD!
We can also open if you call for an appointment.
(319) 848-4074 (Barb) or 848-4963 (Clary).

RESEARCH by Society members is available for a suggested donation of $10.00 per hour.

DONATIONS:  We continue to request donations relating to the history of Ely, Shueyville, Western, and surrounding rural areas. If you have historic photos, you don't need to give them up!  We can scan them and add to our digital photo collection which now numbers around 1,000 photos.

We invite you to visit and find out more about Ely's history, and the Ely Community History Society.
